Technology in Motion was established in 1993 to provide expertise in the supply of high quality Orthopaedic braces and supports, for all injuries and conditions under the guidance of qualified state registered clinicians.
Originally focusing on helping people with ligamentous knee injuries return to their chosen sport with confidence, Technology in Motion progressed its services to provide a fully operational Orthotic Centre and Biomechanical gait laboratory in purposes built facilities in Wimbledon, South London.
In December 2005, Technology in Motion became a wholly owned subsidiary of Össur, one of the world’s fastest growing Orthopaedic & Prosthetic companies.
With increased demand for this specialist service, Technology in Motion, from Össur expanded its operational facilities with the opening of centres in Cardiff, Leeds and Glasgow.
Committed to innovation and technological advancement to bring "Life Without Limitations", Össur is a major supplier of orthotics and prosthetics to the healthcare sector.
Össur has more than thirty years’ experience in the design and production of high-tech orthopaedic devices.
Our Centres stock a wide range of products to cater for most types of patient referrals. Each Centre carries an extensive inventory of stock products, enabling a one stop service for the patient’s convenience. Should a patient’s condition necessitate a custom made device, these are manufactured to order at the highest standard.
